Signs are pointing to 2016 as the year of the woman—
just ask actress Emma Watson, who is taking time off to focus on feminism, or Hillary Clinton, hard at work on the White House hunt. Illustrious lenswoman Annie Leibovitz is adding to the cultural swell by reincarnating her 1999 project Women. The rebooted UBS-commissioned installation will travel to 10 cities across the globe, including San Francisco. It features an assemblage of portraits of accomplished icons spanning Gloria Steinem to Sheryl Sandberg, Adele and Taylor Swift, depicted in the context of their places of work.
