For Gucci and Mr Porter’s first capsule collection, hyperactive hues reign supreme
For Gucci and Mr Porter’s first capsule collection, vibrant florals, fantastical felines, grandiose geometrics and bold, hyperactive hues reign supreme, with an injection of traditional English tailoring. The London-based e-commerce site and the Italian fashion house, under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, created the 43-piece assortment for the man in search of avant-garde’s daring brother, complete with standout pieces like a black-and-red striped three-piece suit, embroidered denim and look-at-me sportswear. To announce its launch, Mr Porter filmed a short, called The Keys, which opens the door to an eccentric view of the exclusive collection.
