The Broad welcomes American icon Jasper Johns
More than 100 paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings by American icon Jasper Johns make up “Something Resembling Truth,” a vast look at the pioneering craftsman. Incorporating the full range of Johns’ techniques, including his use of heated beeswax and found-material collage, the show shines a light on the methods of the man whose works are some of the most well-known (and expensive) in the contemporary oeuvre. Feb. 10-May 13. The Broad, 221 S. Grand Ave., L.A. 213-232-6200; thebroad.org.
