For Love & Lemons debuts an L.A. pop-up shop and a new capsule collection with Jaime King
Beloved Los Angeles-based label For Love & Lemons is teaming up with model and actor Jaime King for an exclusive womenswear capsule collection. “Since the age of 14 I wanted to create a diverse line like this one,” admits King, adding that the range features “everything we need in one cohesive collection” and ascribes to the brand’s focus on “lush, beautiful fabrics, sensuality and the celebration of beauty in all forms.”
Comprising 38 ultrafeminine pieces spanning pastel-hued lace dresses to ruffled skirts with hand-drawn motifs, For Love & Lemons x Jaime King features ready-to-wear apparel (from $125 to $355) and intimates, or “Skivvies” ($108 to $185), all designed to be enduring wardrobe staples that will encourage less garment waste in the long run. “Our planet is being filled with waste and the fast-fashion industry is one of the biggest culprits,” says King. “You can look and feel beautiful without having excess—I wanted to make a collection with clear, beautiful designs that will inspire others to be more thoughtful in their collections.”
The launch of the collaboration also coincides with the debut of For Love & Lemon’s first-ever pop-up store, in Los Angeles, open through February 28. 741 N. La Cienega Blvd., W.H.; forloveandlemons.com.
