Actress Jaime Murray and Bernie Cahill, a founding partner at ROAR, exchange “I do’s” amidst an exotic Balinese rain forest.
The Couple “We always said we would elope, and we did. It was just the two of us,” says Jaime. “It was incredibly intimate and the perfect choice for us.”
The Rings “We chose my Cartier Love ring because it’s so classic and practical,” explains Jaime. “Bernie’s ring is from David Yurman, who uses a lot of Balinese influences in his work.”
The Location “Bali is a magical place. Our wedding took place at the Amandari, which means ‘peaceful spirits,’ and it was breathtaking,” the bride says.
The Details “I found my white umbrella at the Portobello Market in London…it was the perfect solution to the midday sun,” says Jaime. “I also grabbed this handwoven fan from my room as we left for the ceremony.”
The Dress “I’m not a big wedding gown kind of girl,” says Jaime. “When I tried this Monique Lhuillier dress, I loved the simplicity and elegance of the cut. It also had that old-school, boudoir look I wanted.”
The Ceremony “We had our service high up in the lush, green rain forest, surrounded by nature’s rich colors and scents, with the rushing waters of the Ayung River below,” says the bride.
