A SoCal couple travel south of the border for an authentic wedding weekend.
L.A.-based couple Karly Kazarian, a wholesale manager for True Religion, and Peter Bonfante, a partner at boutique law firm Bonfante Steinbeck, knew they wanted a destination wedding but didn’t want to make their friends and family travel too far to partake in the festivities.
The table settings were romantic and timeless, and the entire space was transformed into what felt like Old World Mexico
Just one hour north of Cabo San Lucas in Todos Santos, the pair fell in love with the 15-acre Rancho Pescadero. They exchanged vows barefoot on the sand while a mariachi band filled the warm air with traditional Mexican music. After a jaw-dropping sunset graced the beachfront ceremony, the 70 guests gathered in the indoor/outdoor reception area. “The table settings were romantic and timeless, and the entire space was transformed into what felt like Old World Mexico, with iron candelabras and heaps of candles in all different sizes,” says Kazarian. Further incorporating the native influences, the pair worked with the resort’s culinary master, Chef Bueno, to create a menu that included roasted fish, rib-eye medallions and grilled vegetables from the property’s organic garden. The bride recalls, “Everything about our wedding was so personal and emotional, and Mother Nature pulled out all the stops that day.” ranchopescadero.com.
