On Thursday, May 9, at Berluti’s Beverly Hills boutique, the distinguished menswear label hosted an exclusive book signing event with Olivier Widmaier Picasso, the grandson of Pablo Picasso and author of the biography Picasso: An Intimate Portrait (Abrams, $40).
Guests, including Rebecca de Ravenal, Anastasia Soare, Adrian Paul Hewett and Alexander Ghislain, gathered to celebrate the English language release of the new book (originally written in French), which delves into the details of the legendary artist’s personal life and paints an intimate portrait of him through elegant prose and rare photographs.
After the book signing, attendees set off to Gagosian gallery — a stone’s throw away from the Berluti store — for a private dinner, live music and a special toast from the man of the hour.
