To mark the opening of the highly anticipated “Louis Vuitton X” exhibit, which fetes the iconic French house’s 160-year history, Louis Vuitton threw a grandiose party in Beverly Hills on Friday, June 28.

Hosts Michael Burke and Delphine Arnault of LVMH invited a crowd of A-list artists and performers to the Sheats Goldstein Residence in Beverly Crest for cocktails and a light dinner. The soiree then moved to Rodeo Drive, where guests had a chance to privately experience the new immersive exhibition, which comprises 10 digitally enhanced rooms and more than 180 items from the Louis Vuitton archives and scenography.

Attendees — among them Alicia Vikander, Laura Harrier, Jaden Smith, Jennifer Connelly and Orlando Bloom — explored the two-story space’s mesmerizing components and on-site Louis Vuitton pop-up shop, curated by Sarah Andelman of Paris’ former cult-favorite boutique Colette.

Guests also included artists Jonas Wood, Urs Fischer, Alex Israel, Nicholas Hlobo and Tschabalala Self, all of whom collaborated with the label for their new Artycapucines collection, respectively reimagining the Capucines handbag in their signature points of view.

“Louis Vuitton X” is on view through Nov. 10. 468 N. Rodeo Dr., Beverly Hills.
