Party On: The Lela Rose x Capitol Fall Fete Is a Perfect Vision in Pastels

The womenswear designer and Brentwood fashion boutique toast warm-weather styles to come

The beauty and whimsy of designer Lela Rose’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection was on full display at an intimate get-together held Tuesday, Nov. 12., at Capitol Brentwood. Joining the designer and Capitol owner Laura Vinroot Poole were actors D’arcy Carden and Mishel Prada, along with a cadre of Los Angeles stylists, including Brit Hines, Katie Bofshever, Kara Smith and Lindsey Dupuis Bledsoe.

As singer-songwriter Itasca performed a chill acoustic set, guests like Beauty Counter’s Gregg Renfrew and Le Catch’s Marlien Rentmeester suppered by candlelight in Capitol’s great room, where the store’s iconic turquoise de Gournay screen provided a colorful backdrop. The rose and coral-hued candles and exquisite china gave the whole affair an elegant, pastel glow as Micah Schifman, Monty Jackson, Natalie Hoselton and Jensen Edmondson tucked into dinner, catered by Farmshop, to toast the fashion community and Rose’s new styles.
