How to cheat your way to a post-vacay look

Summer 2020 may look a little different, due to the coronavirus, but some things remain the same: the temptation of our exquisite California coastline, and our desire for sun, surf and a beachy glow. Unlike past years, when we’ve curated our summer beauty kit with travel in mind, this year we’re staying closer to home. But that doesn’t mean we can’t look as though we just returned from a Fourth of July week in Puglia.
Want to pamper your skin? Try a cactus-infused face oil, or a shea butter balm that gives you buttery-soft skin. Treat dry hair with a healing CBD scalp oil, or a shampoo/conditioner duo made with Japanese seaweed. Pair a lush and creamy shaving cream with a gorgeous, almost art-like gold razor for a smooth canvas.
You don’t want to overdo it, but we need the sun to stay healthy: UV rays stimulate skin to make vitamin D, important to our bones, blood cells and immune system. The sun’s rays also boost serotonin production, positively affecting our mood and energy.
