Adrien Brody, accompanied by Georgina Chapman, turned up at Giorgio Armani’s Beverly Hills boutique for a cocktail party hosted by the Italian fashion house to celebrate Oscar nominees that drew together an eclectic swath of Hollywood on Saturday, March 1. Brody, up for a second best actor award for his portrayal of a Bauhaus-trained architect in The Brutalist, an epic drama filmed in VistaVision, joined his costar and fellow nominee Felicity Jones, as well as Samuel L. Jackson, John Lithgow, Diego Boneta, Eiza Gonzales, Madelyn Cline, Henry Golding, Billy Crystal, Walton Goggins, Bobby Shriver, Cooper Koch, Joan Chen, Denis Villeneuve, Kristen Bell, Mackenzie Foy, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, Greg Tarzan Davis, Josh Gage, LaKeith Stanfield, Ruth Wilson, and many more guests, several of whom wore designs by the 90-year-old house founder.

Also on hand were Anora’s Mark Eydelshteyn and Yura Borisov, plus Edward James Olmos, Paula Wagner, Jurnee Smollett, Rick Nicita, Troy Garity, Alex Israel, Zac Posen, Darren Star, Lawrence Bender, Elizabeth Saltzman, Edward Menicheschi, Peter Friedlander, Nicole Chavez, Olivia Perez, and Jessica Wang. Guests got a look at the house’s Spring 2025 travel-inspired collection hanging amid stacks of suitcases and luggage carts inside the boutique. Sheer looks, beautiful pastel pieces, and suits in blue, gray, or tan were installed on different levels of the store. Beaded and sequined dresses caught guests’ eyes as they greeted each other while sipping Champagne.

For Brody, who won an Oscar the following day, wearing a custom midnight blue Armani tuxedo, the awards season that culminated with Saturday’s parties prompted introspection. As he accepted the statue during the 97th Academy Awards, he reflected on his career and the span between his first win and his second. “Acting is a very fragile profession,” he said. “It looks very glamorous and at certain moments it is, but the one thing that I’ve gained in having the privilege to come back here is to have some perspective. And no matter where you are in your career, no matter what you have accomplished, it can all go away. And I think what makes this night most special is the awareness of that and the gratitude that I have to still do the work that I love.”
