Hollywood’s tastemakers turn out for the label’s delicious new project with chef Massimo Bottura

Debuting a rooftop restaurant on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills calls for an equally glamorous celebration. On Saturday, Feb. 8, Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri and world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura called on guests such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Saoirse Ronan to toast the opening of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura, the fashion house’s first dining venture in the United States.
Anderson .Paak and Salma Hayek Pinault joined the team of chefs, including Karime Lopez and Mattia Agazzi, in the kitchen for a tasting and a laugh, while Hari Nef and Dakota Johnson posed for photos against the restaurant’s botanical wallpaper. The energy in the room was that of a space shared by friends and family, which was appropriate, considering Bizzarri and Bottura have been friends since childhood.
The celebrities may have garnered plenty of attention, but the food was the real highlight. Make sure your friends know — the tortellini isn’t just any pasta, it’s three-Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura’s Gucci pasta.
