Genny creative director Sara Cavazza Facchini brought her vision of an Italian-inspired dreamscape to L.A. with her Cruise 2026 collection show held on Sunday, June 1, at the Casa Lago villa in Beverly Hills. The event, which took place on Italy’s Republic Day and was organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles, celebrated collection themes such as visions, creativity, and freedom. Now with a Beverly Hills boutique awash in shades of white and a range of metallic hues, the house codes highlighted in Cavazza Facchini’s presentation have become familiar to her L.A.-based guests as well as her international base.

Models traversing the estate’s lakeside grass or perched around its rectangular pool were clad in flowing or structured dresses, pants, and shorts in lime tones of the house’s distinctive orchid print. Evening gowns in white, black, or delicate pastel shades had fluid silhouettes, and jeweled jeans and rhinestone tassels added an eye-catching vintage aesthetic. Daywear looks were inspired by L.A. itself, equally suited for lunch in the city or a beachside evening with the rolling waves of the Pacific Ocean nearby. As the sun set and the light turned golden, the line’s Italian heritage and beautiful fabrics — including silks, light muslin, and structured drill — were newly interpreted through a decidedly Californian lens.
