On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021, Pomellato has released a film showing a conversation between the world’s foremost actor-activist Jane Fonda, and actor, podcaster and fellow change agent Jameela Jamil. As part of the Pomellato For Women campaign, the pair sat down in Los Angeles, where they both live, to discuss their own activism, women in leadership, resilience and healing. The conversation will air as the fifth edition of Kering’s Women In Motion podcast, debuting March 8.

Fonda’s political action, feminism and philanthropy dates back to the 1960s and the Vietnam War. The NYC-born actor has won two academy awards and at this year’s Golden Globes picked up the Cecile B. De Mille lifetime achievement award. Jamil, a British actor who starred in The Good Place, writer and DJ started the I Weigh podcast in which she challenges society’s definition of worth through weight by inviting guests to discuss instances when they have felt shamed and where they believe their value lies. She considers Fonda a personal hero.

The Women in Motion podcast episode featuring the two actor-activists will be available starting March 8.
