Gabriela Hearst Embraces Pigment-Rich Denim
GABRIELA HEARST has made a new foray into recycled denim, incorporating circular water use and a dyeing process that uses less electricity and an ecological wash. Hues from cobalt to orange to burnt sienna make her silhouettes eye-catching; the colors are inspired by traditional Spanish house paints in pigments that filmmaker Clara Cullen shared with the designer. The assortment of garment-dyed 100 percent recycled cotton denim styles includes a cropped bootcut, a straight-leg jean, and a long bootcut, all with custom wood-inlaid brass buttons that are removable for machine washing. There’s even a classic shade, Uruguayan blue (named for Hearst’s homeland), and a white version that’s ideal for summer months. Knit tanks and Henleys in corresponding hues round out the launch, with denim jackets soon to follow. 9502 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, 310-273-2200; gabrielahearst.com.

Etro Enters the Hot Months With a Cool New Collab
The Mediterranean coasts and the islands that dot the region’s basin inspired ETRO’s Summer 2025 collection’s palette of sun-kissed spicy tones and shades of blue mimicking the sea itself. Dresses, scarves, and beachwear made of breezy fabrics and crisp cotton poplin and men’s trunks, suede jackets, blazers, and tailored suits all include prints inspired by majolica tiles and hidden gardens along with the house’s trademark stripes and paisley patterns. Joining these designs is a collaboration with Italian artist Agostino Iacurci, known for his bright murals and site-specific installations. He has created Arnica totes and pouches in paisley jacquard fabric, embellished with embroidered botanical motifs. There are also embroidered canvas bags, scarves, and T-shirts printed with his distinctive palm trees. etro.com.

The Return of Fendi’s Spy Bag
A concealed pocket with a disguised button devised by Silvia Venturini Fendi first gave the house’s Spy bag its secretive allure when it launched in 2005. Now the design is back as part of FENDI’s centenary. The soft two-handled handbag is now made in two sizes, regular and small, and retains its unique aughts silhouette. The larger version can be worn over the shoulder and an attached D-Ring holds charms; the smaller iteration is carried by hand, on the shoulder, or across the body with a detachable shoulder strap. There are smooth leather designs in neutral, earthy shades for those who wish to remain undercover as well as statement-making candy-colored hues like macaron pink, mint green, and sorbetto yellow. Shearling varieties come in tan and beige shades and other exotic versions are in the works. In this age of oversharing, what will remain concealed? fendi.com.

Louis Vuitton’s Endless Summer
Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, LOUIS VUITTON’s master perfumer, has long cultivated a California state of mind, and he has reworked a golden hour re-edition of Sun Song, newly released for the hottest months of the year. The fragrance, part of the house’s Cologne Perfumes grounded in the allure of the West Coast and its light from dawn to dusk, combines orange blossom extracts — neroli, orange blossom absolute, and petitgrain essence — with lemon and musk. The result conjures sun warming the skin and light reflecting off the sea. Multimedia artist Alex Israel, who has designed the packaging for the pantheon of scents in this series, has again created a bright palette saturated in midsummer hues using his work Summer, which depicts the oversize lens of sunglasses. The L.A. native’s yellow-orange gradient hue is also visible on the monogram-printed translucent plexiglass bottle trunk. $345. louisvuitton.com.
