Tiffany & Co., founded in New York City in 1837, held a lavish bash for the reopening of its newly transformed flagship on Fifth Avenue and 57th Street on Thursday, April 27. The celebration included a large West Coast contingent in addition to locals, collectors, and LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s Bernard Arnault and his family. The store, now called The Landmark, played host to Gal Gadot, Hailey Bieber, Jimin, Pharrell Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Florence Pugh, Zoë Kravitz, Blake Lively, Michael B. Jordan, Eileen Gu, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Tracee Ellis Ross, Barbara Palvin, Dylan Sprouse, and Aimee Song, while Larry Gagosian, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Lauren Santo Domingo, Jacob Elordi, J. Balvin, Sam Worthington, Daniel Arsham, Jeff Koons, Peter Marino, Shohei Shigematsu, Marc Jacobs, Catherine Martin, Martha Stewart, Anthony Ledru, Sidney Toledano, and Michael Burke were also on hand.

The guests got a look around the brightly lit new 10-floor, 110,000-square-foot building reworked from its 1940 origins by Shigematsu of OMA New York with interiors devised by Marino that include an LED-clad main floor, a mirrored spiral staircase on floors 3 to 8 that rises above Arsham’s eroded bronze sculpture, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Equals Pi painting in the main elevator bank, plus works by Julian Schnabel, Damien Hirst, Richard Prince, and Rashid Johnson and a rotating roster of artists. Next the celebration moved to the adjacent Tiffany Flagship Next Door, the jewelry house’s temporary store during the gut renovation — the Landmark gained three floors during work that began in 2019. The Next Door space was cleared out and reworked for an evening that included a Petrossian caviar bar, topped-off glasses of Champagne, and a look at all the house ambassadors and their baubles of choice for the evening. DJ Mia Moretti spun an opening set before the Radio City Rockettes performed, followed by the headliner: Santa Barbara native Katy Perry.
