Just add dots for a pop art-inspired makeover

In all truth, I have never personally been a fan of polka-dots, but this spring season offered up a refreshing take on the traditional print to tempt even the most minimal of dressers. Oversized spots from Wes Green at Carolina Herrera looked cool and modern; varying sizes in layers of silk added interesting dimensions at Sacai; and Erdem used subtle embroidery to send a dashing message in red linen. Whether you choose the subtle touch of a dotted accessory or go for the flash of a pop art moment, a spot is a great way to make a statement. Lichtenstein was on to something.
