We can’t avoid the fact that we’re all spending way more time at home right now, and so loungewear has become the new couture. The same goes for slippers, and designers have responded to this hot trend by upping their game creatively, sending sales through the roof and designs up to another level.
Roger Vivier added a signature diamante buckle to its sleek Hotel slipper; Roam and Ugg’s faux fur slides are now ultrafluffy; and Marni took a leaf out of Coco Chanel’s book with cute, two-toned shearling ballet flats.
There’s no reason to not be stylish, even when no one is looking — and every reason to wear these slippers when leaving the house.
