C Magazine and Dolce & Gabbana Toast the Dolce Vita

Mid Oscar week, Erica Pelosini hosted an Italian-style gathering in celebration of the house’s Spring/Summer collection

In the swirl of Oscar events, Dolce & Gabbana came together with C Magazine and Erica Pelosini for an afternoon among friends, fashion and a taste of Italy with a twist of Hollywood. On Thursday, March 24, Pelosini opened her Trousdale Estates home to the Italian house in honor of the brand’s newest Renaissance collection, where they created a private mini-boutique.

The tablescape adorned with tuberose and lemon arrangements.

Guests included Dree Hemingway, Natasha Bassett, Elisabetta Canalis and Jennifer Tilly, all dressed appropriately in breezy summer dresses, while Tori Praver (in a white slip dress) and Tessa Hilton (in a stunning purple floral sundress) dressed up their baby bumps. Of course, it was Pelosini who stole the show in an amazing Dolce & Gabbana butterfly jacket with jeans and a crop top.

The sun-filled afternoon kicked off with organic Bellissima Prosecco and cocktails from Casamigos, who created their own version of an Aperol Spritz for the occasion.

Sitting around the long table bathed in fragrant tuberose and lemons, the alfresco lunch had a Sicilian-themed menu paired with Dolce & Gabbana wines and concluded with refreshing scoops from Gelato Festival. And, in between trying on pieces from the latest collection, guests chatted about the upcoming awards show nominations as well as all things fashion.
