Because summer is only 65 days away — but who’s counting?

At her new Melrose Place atelier, in-demand Australian aesthetican Melanie Grant mixes technology with tradition. 8483 Melrose Pl., West Hollywood, 323-592-3336.
WHAT TO KNOW: Grant is known for her one-of-a-kind Chanel facial (she’s the Australian skincare ambassador for the brand), which leaves skin glowing and feeling plump and hydrated.
With husband and partner Jason Backe, celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson is behind the world’s first smart salon in Los Angeles. 211 S. La Brea Ave., L.A., 323-413-2244.
WHAT TO KNOW: Each hair station is equipped with a tablet for, say, catching up on Netflix, or cruising your stylist’s Amazon storefront for recommended hair products.
Beloved New York Fitness guru Karen Lord has brought her result-driven workouts west with a sleek new Venice studio. 1729 Abbot Kinney Blvd., info@karenlordpilatesmovement.com.
WHAT TO KNOW: Lord, previously a stylist, teaches a killer 50-minute class called Love and Pilates. It should really be called abs, abs, abs — with a little bit of breathwork thrown in for good measure.
One of L.A.’s first Megaformer studios, this outpost of The Studio (MDR) offers Pilates classes… turned up to 11. Using the Lagree method, the sweat session focuses on strength, cardio, endurance and flexibility. One look at instructor Mary Millers’ abs and you’ll understand why she has a cult following. 9901 Washington Blvd., Ste. 103, Culver City, 424-603-4554.
WHAT TO KNOW: Devotees of the other three L.A. locations will be happy to know that this one has its own showers stocked with Playa haircare and Saje wellness products, plus free parking across the street on Hughes Avenue.
Former makeup artist Ivan Pol, who counts Jennifer Lopez and Kate Winlet as clients, swapped his makeup brushes for radio frequency technology he uses to sculpt, tone and lift the face, without needles. 869 Via De La Paz, Bungalow B, Pacific Palisades, 310-804-7509.
WHAT TO KNOW: Pol works out of a bungalow space in the Palisades, where clients settle into a cloud-like Hastens mattress for their treatment. He makes house calls, too.
Former Frédéric Fekkai disciple David Pappalardo, who has trained under some of the industry’s biggest names, including Didier Malige and Paul Hanlon, has branched out on his own. In an airy bungalow in West Hollywood — the interior design of which Pappalardo says was inspired by his upbringing in the south of France (think rattan furnishings, layered rugs and wood flooring) — he does everything from cuts, colors and Keratin treatments. 8605 Rosewood Ave., West Hollywood, 310-733-7690.
WHAT TO KNOW: Well-tressed types like Mia Moretti and Alana Hadid (yes, Bella and Gigi’s big sister) have him on speed dial.
