The face of Relevant Beauty joined the line’s founder to cohost a Beverly Hills dinner

Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills house served as a charming gathering ground for an alfresco dinner hosted by Relevant Beauty founder Nyakio Grieco and brand ambassador Nicole Richie on Tuesday, October 24. Grieco, who launched her clean skincare line with Black chemists as part of melanated skin beauty platform Thirteen Lune, is now moving into makeup with lip gloss plus lip and cheek multi-tints, all boosted with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid and fronted by Richie. In celebration of the new collection, Richie’s sister, Sofia Richie Grainge, and husband, Joel Madden, also dropped by her dad’s house, along with friends including Michelle Monaghan, Molly Sims, Kelly Sawyer, Hillary Kerr, Tina Craig, Lindsay Price, Beau Nelson, Jamie Mizrahi, Brooke DeVard, Phillip Picardi, Grace Bukunmi, Rachel Zoe, Eric Buterbaugh, Lauren London, Lizzy Mathis, Julissa Bermudez, and Thirteen Lune’s Patrick Herning.
Richie served a family-style dinner whipped up by My 2 Cents chef Alisa Reynolds that included rib eye steak, seafood gumbo, and a host of other soul-inspired dishes to her guests, who also got a first look at the skincare brand’s makeup introduction meant to evoke a gentle glow — or an intense flush — on cheeks and a matching swipe of gloss across lips. The ultra-inclusive line’s innovative and technology-led formulations designed for all skin tones include a palette of colors ranging from pomegranate and clementine to pink and nude devised as part of a daily beauty regimen topping the line’s multitasking sunscreen and vitamin-packed serums. Richie’s cheeks, aglow in a tangerine hue, signaled a bright start to the festive season ahead.
