Hollywood toasted the beloved designer at the house’s annual Rodeo Drive boutique party

Giorgio Armani hosted an evening celebrating the culmination of awards season with its annual cocktail party held at the Italian house’s Beverly Hills boutique on Saturday, March 14. The event, held on the eve of the Academy Awards, drew guests including Kerry Condon, Samuel L. Jackson, and Minnie Driver, all previous nominees, alongside Jessica Capshaw, Max Minghella, Yara Shahidi, Mark Strong, Tom Blyth, Jon Hamm, Paul Anthony Kelly, Jurnee Smollett, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Hudson Williams, François Arnaud, Edgar Ramirez, Ali Larter, and many more.
This year’s gathering marked the first since the house founder’s death in September at 91. The last collection he personally designed, Spring/Summer 2026, could be seen hanging in the boutique. Jackson, known for his bold personal style, had a longstanding friendship with the designer and wore his clothes in films and appearances over the years. In tribute, Jackson donned a black T-shirt with Armani’s portrait under a printed jacket (and later posted an image of himself wearing it paired with David Bowie’s 1980 song Fashion) as he arrived with his wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson. Driver, who has also worn the Italian label over the years, dressed in a black velvet tank emblazoned with the designer’s visage along with cream-colored slacks.
