Tiffany & Co. gathered a number of jewel-adorned guests for the launch of its latest Blue Book offering, held at The Beverly Estate in Beverly Hills on Thursday, April 25. The Céleste high jewelry collection — inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s fascination with the universe and its trove of mysteries, and reimagined by Nathalie Verdeille, the house’s chief artistic officer — took pride of place amid the plethora of sparklers worn by those in attendance. Anya Taylor-Joy, Ai Tominaga, and Reese Witherspoon wore newly created pieces and Ava Phillippe, Gabrielle Union, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emily Blunt, Gal Gadot, Giveon, Diego Boneta, Olivia Wilde, Laura Harrier, Nancy Ajram, Adria Arjona, Suki Waterhouse, Valentina Ferrer, Michelle Salas, and Quinta Brunson were also on hand for the unveiling, bedecked in a variety of designs from the house. Usher, in a white suit, pinned two platinum Schlumberger Bird on a Rock brooches to his lapel and paired them with a matching watch and Victoria diamond vine necklace.

Verdeille’s second Blue Book collection adapted and reworked interpretations of the sun, moon, stars, and distant galaxies first pioneered by Schlumberger, the longtime Tiffany & Co. designer known for his whimsical reinterpretations of nature. Divided into three phases, the spring collection pieces came from chapters including Constellation, Iconic Star, Ray of Light, Apollo, Wings, and Arrow. Taylor-Joy’s red-and-pink spinels paired with diamonds evoked light beams and brought to mind archival brooches that resembled fanciful sunrays. Winged silhouettes with sapphires and diamonds emblematic of flight and the notion of soaring above the atmosphere hinted at discoveries of distant constellations. Many other luminous new pieces could be seen in vitrines at the estate, once home to actress Marion Davies and publisher William Randolph Hearst. As the sun went down, the night sky lit up with its own far-flung sparklers.
