The West Coast’s sartorial kings and queens convened at tastemaker Brigette Romanek’s L.A. residence — and proved this city is never out of style

Interior designer Brigette Romanek welcomed friends from the worlds of entertainment and design into her Laurel Canyon home on Tuesday, Nov. 5, for a soiree marking the release of Fashion in LA (Phaidon, $80), a new book edited by Tania Fares and Krista Smith that documents the city’s perpetually cutting-edge style sense.
In addition to Romanek, the tasteful affair was hosted by Anne Crawford, Alexis Brunswick, publisher Phaidon and digital shopping platform Moda Operandi.
Guests, including model Maye Muske; actors Demi Moore and Rashida Jones; designers Laura Mulleavy, Rachel Zoe, Rosetta Getty, Emily Current and Merritt Elliot; accessories designer Clare Vivier; and jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche, turned out to honor L.A.’ permanent place on the global fashion stage.
