St. John added another page to its storied history with the launch of its Resort 2026 collection. The first offering, previewed during a dinner held at the San Vicente Bungalows on December 9, brought together actress Annabeth Gish, whose stellar career has taken her from Mystic Pizza to The West Wing, The X-Files, and a host of stage and film work, with a roomful of influential women in West Hollywood for the gathering. Sheryl Lee Ralph, Lori Loughlin, Sally Pressman, and many more guests from film, television, entrepreneurship, and other creative fields got a first look at new St. John designs. Gish, who was tapped to front the collection campaign, wore a pantsuit from the line, just one of the new silhouettes that draw from the brand’s 62-year history of sportswear separates and glamorous old Hollywood gowns — updated for modern wardrobes.

As a female-founded house, St. John has deep roots championing women. The collection looks — from tailored knitwear to sportswear to gala gowns — included many of the legacy designs reimagined in bold pink hues, deep bordeaux, metallic tweeds, and black. Embracing a modern point of view, the line balances iconic knits with elevated ready-to-wear, and among the designs was a versatile Marie jacket using a shape founder Marie Gray first created.
