Now Trending: Island-Inspired Prints

Even if you don’t have travel plans, you can still boost your mood by channeling the tropics

Words and Styling by ALISON EDMOND

We’re daydreaming about the day we can once more feel safe jet-setting to shores near and far, and it’s coming through in our wardrobe. From palms and pools at Versace to glittered flora and fauna knits from Missoni plus a touch of psychedelia from Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs for good measure … We get the feeling that designers really enjoyed serving up these island-inspired statements this season. To enjoy tropical vibes without ever leaving the house, try slipping into one of these prints. And don’t be afraid to mix and layer: Add a vintage headscarf or a flower brooch, or try wearing three different prints at once.
