Giorgio Armani Debuts Fine Jewelry for Men
Following on the heels of its founder’s menswear innovations across decades, Giorgio Armani is launching men’s fine jewelry crafted in gold and set with brilliant cut diamonds. The inspiration for the new pieces comes from an organic source, the volcanic landscape of an Italian island. In keeping with the lava rock laden look of Pantelleria, where Armani had a home, the black diamonds evoke lava stone. There’s a chevalier ring, a pendant necklace, cufflinks, a brooch, and a tennis bracelet, all with a muted palette referencing the wild nature of the island escape. In keeping with house codes, these are minimalist designs with the same elegant restraint found in its ready-to-wear and formal looks. The effect is as refreshing as a dip in the Mediterranean. 436 N. Rodeo Dr., Beverly Hills, 310-271-5555; armani.com.

Spinelli Kilcollin Goes Back to Its Roots
Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin are marking 15 years of creativity by paying tribute to the first shapes that drove the creative bent of their Los Angeles–based jewelry line, Spinelli Kilcollin. Known for modular linked rings meant to be worn across multiple fingers or stacked on one, the line’s practice of using local craftmanship, recycled metals, and ethically sourced stones has expanded to encompass all manner of adornments, including hoops, chain necklaces, bracelets, bangles, and earrings. The collections include diamond rings in a three-band combination, collaborations with fellow L.A. creatives including Hoorsenbuhs, and ever-evolving linked bands in a variety of metals and pavé diamond combinations. Now, with boutiques in New York, London, and Melrose Hill in L.A., the designers’ increasingly international following is getting a celebratory look at archival work and highlights from the brand’s evolution. 747 N. A Revelry-Ready Thom Browne Collection
Sport coats, tweed pants, pencil skirts in sheer black silk organza, and Vitello calf leather Chelsea boots or wingtip pumps join black-tie classics and down-filled outerwear designed to weather the elements in Thom Browne’s High Winter collection. The crafted-in-Italy staples are a blend of functional utility and the formality required for various outings during the holiday season. The designs, including four-bar varsity leather bomber jackets, cashmere cardigans, and tromp l’oeil dresses, are meant to be changed out after an imagined day outdoors gives way to a formal dinner. In Browne’s world, actors Morgan Spector, Louisa Jacobson, Denée Benton, Rebecca Hall, Sean Kaufman, Minnie Mills, and Sydney Lemmon play all the parts clad in the looks on a Hudson Valley outing upstate. 3333 Bristol St., South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, 714-410-8485; 8408 Melrose Pl., L.A., 213-357-0420; 432 Jackson St., S.F., 415-655-3618; thombrowne.com.

Veja Touches Down on the West Coast
Veja’s first West Coast boutique has arrived on Abbot Kinney. The French footwear line, known for its craftsmanship and spare design, has taken over a 1923 building that once housed postwar artists and was reworked by L.A.-based architecture studio OWIU (Only Way Is Up). Shoes, including the Campo and retro V-12, are displayed on sculptural concrete amid stone, gravel pebbles from nearby quarries, and other local materials beneath wood beam ceilings. The spare space also includes a cobbler’s workshop — a space central to the line’s investment in sustainability and waste-minimizing goals — for repairs, cleaning, and other fixes, giving sneakers a second life. 1108C Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice, 310-310-2281; veja-store.com.
