Ralph Lauren Crafts Fits for Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo Athletes
What brand would the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams select for the imminent opening and closing ceremonies of the winter games but Ralph Lauren? For nearly two decades, the designer has created uniforms and gear for Team USA. The Milano Cortina 2026 games marks the 10th consecutive year his company has dreamed up looks for those hoping to top the podium in winter sports. With all eyes on Milan, the fashion capital of Italy, a particular level of sophistication was in order, according to chief branding and innovation officer David Lauren. Athletes will wear manufactured-in-the-U.S. winter white wool coats with wooden toggles and tailored wool trousers paired with intarsia wool turtleneck sweaters for the opening parade of nations. Closing ceremony kits (also made in America), which draw inspiration from vintage ski racer gear, include color-blocked puffer jackets and white utility pants. Dior Takes to the Alps
The magic of winter escapes to mountains covered in snow inspired the blend of couture details and performance materials in the new DiorAlps collection. Soft toned jackets and après-ski boots also have Dior Oblique patterns, while ski goggles, scarves, beanies, bucket hats, and gloves are embellished with brand monikers. A puffer jacket is belted and a wool-and-cashmere cape has a white archival Dior Graphique motif created in 1971 by Marc Bohan. There are shearling and leather versions of the Lady Dior, Dior Toujours, and Diorstar bags as well as a ballet flat and Boy loafer, both in suede. In short, everything needed for a winter outing to the Sierra Nevada or farther afield. dior.com.

Givenchy’s Curvy New Bag
Sarah Burton’s sculptural ready-to-wear for Givenchy (cinched jackets, curved sleeves) is reflected in the house’s newest launch, the Snatch bag. The leather design — constructed in large, medium, and small — is meant to be carried by hand, worn over the shoulder, or fashioned as a cross-body style. There’s a graphic black-and-white version or single-shade iterations from black, aubergine, and dark brown to taupe, cream, pink, or white, and the handbag zips shut with a metal chain. Contrasting pops of color in the shape of crescents line the inside, and edges are all done by hand. Following the body’s curves, there’s a softness to it, but also a decidedly geometric shape with clean lines and symmetry. givenchy.com.

SKIMS Taps an All-American Color Palette
Following collaborations with Team USA during the Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, and Paris 2024 games, a fourth SKIMS capsule is arriving just as the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics kick off in Italy. Limited-edition loungewear, sleepwear, intimates, accessories, and adaptive pieces for athletes are crafted with rest and recovery in mind, while the bold colors and graphics of the collection are inspired by team uniforms donned on competition days. American bobsledder Kaysha Love, ice dancer Madison Chock, and Nordic skier and 400m runner Dani Aravich front the collection of cotton boy shorts, boxer briefs, and paralympic boxer shorts plus fleece sleep pants, T-shirts, scarves, and thigh-high socks sized XXS to 4X. skims.com.

Bulgari Launches Elegant Screen Time Reducers
Striking baubles by Roman jeweler Bulgari have been worn by Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, and Zendaya, but until now the house has never created minaudieres, the sort of bag designed to pair with prominent gems. Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou took on the task of launching the first collection of evening bags made with semi-precious stones, available in two sizes, called the Icons collection. Each pays homage to one of five heritage jewelry collections: the hiss of Serpenti, the coils of Tubogas, the mosaics of Diva’s Dream, the ancient coins of Monete, and the modern Bulgari logo. But the sculptural clutches, each with a matching chain, are intentionally too small to fit a phone. Instead, each includes a miniature book with personal reflections penned by actor and animal behaviorist Isabella Rossellini, actor Kim Ji-won, writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, model Linda Evangelista, or architect Sumayya Vally. Louis Vuitton and UNICEF Upgrade a Decade-Long Partnership
Now in its 10th year, Louis Vuitton’s ongoing alliance with UNICEF continues with the launch of a celebratory unisex limited edition Silver Lockit pendant that’s crafted for the first time in yellow gold (Cupids, take note). The launch of the original Silver Lockit collection was inspired by the padlock on a turn-of-the-last-century Steamer bag, and the designs have been continually reinterpreted each year in support of worldwide programs for the health, education, and protection of children. Over the past decade, the partnership has raised more than $28 million, and the French house will donate an additional $800 to the nonprofit for each new gold pendant purchased. As aid programs are cut worldwide, UNICEF’s work is more crucial than ever, and in the coming months new additions to the 2026 collection will emerge. louisvuitton.com.
