On a recent visit to Los Angeles, roving street style photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce (aka Garcon Jon) turned his lens to the city’s east side and some of its creative inhabitants. Using Hollywood’s Villa Carlotta as his home base, he captured the sunset as it washed over Griffith Observatory, the iconic neon side outside The Last Bookstore downtown, and the tree-shaded streets of Los Feliz — all, quite fittingly, using expired Ektachrome Color Slide film, giving his images a welcome bout of nostalgia in these fast-moving digital times.
