Chanel gathered a group of cool girls in Los Angeles to celebrate Gracie Abrams’ new appointment as a fine jewelry ambassador as well as the Coco Crush line, inspired by the emblematic quilting synonymous with the house, on Wednesday, January 7. Naturally, the intimate dinner, held at Chateau Marmont, included a host of fellow musicians like Maggie Rogers, St. Vincent, Griff, PinkPantheress, Audrey Nuna, Conan Gray, Violet Grohl, and Lily Allen, whose surprise performance charmed all those assembled. Many wore versions of the carved gold pieces, including new introductions such as a short necklace, cuffs, beige and white gold two-tone earrings, plus pavé bracelets and a choker, among others.

Abrams and longtime house ambassador Jennie Kim play a game of hide-and-seek in a new video capturing the collection, also set at the Chateau, and all those assembled got a look at the mix-and-match-able designs. Guests such as Keri Russell, Tessa Thompson, Dakota Fanning, Gabbriette, Mona Tougaard, Sarah Pidgeon, Connor Storrie, Quenlin Blackwell, Lisa Love and Laura Love, and Derek Blasberg joined Frédéric Grangié, president of fine watches and jewelry at Chanel. The dinner, held just after the Critics Choice Awards and days prior to the Golden Globes, had a celebratory tone amid a hotel already abuzz with fittings and gatherings as guests reunited with friends and fellow cast members or met for the first time at the candlelit tables.
