Cassandra Grey and friends celebrated the latest scent from the lauded perfumer in West Hollywood

Inspired by the South of France, the latest fragrance from the renowned French perfumer Frédéric Malle was unveiled in true style in Los Angeles on Friday, Nov. 8.
The intimate dinner party was thrown by cult cosmetics purveyor and platform Violet Grey and its founder, Cassandra Grey, who welcomed a petite clique of tastemakers to the exclusive San Vicente Bungalows.
Attendees, including Samantha Ronson, January Jones, Jonah Hill, Danielle Lauder, Brigette Romanek and Lisa Love, mingled amid the intoxicating aroma of the elegant new perfume, Rose & Cuir by Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle.
The new release ($250/50 mL) marries the scent of the perennial flower with notes of timut pepper, geranium bourbon and cassis, later unfolding into an earthy blend of vetiver, cedar, leather and IsoButyl Quinoline, a Jazz Age perfumery staple.
