A celebrity skin whisperer gets a new home base and a beloved hairdresser delivers next-level blowouts

In Shani Darden’s new, 2,500-square-foot Beverly Hills location, the celebrity skin whisperer combines innovative techniques (ultrasound, microcurrent, LED bed, oxygen dome) with retinols and peels to heal and rejuvenate famous faces like Chrissy Teigen and Jessica Alba. BANDIER
Known for its dance cardio, yoga and high-intensity workouts, New York-based Bandier is also a go-to for activewear (Y-3, Koral, and Varley). Now the company has ventured westward with a three-story Melrose outpost that includes athleisure and footwear boutiques, and a cafe with coffee, matcha and protein smoothies courtesy of Coffee Dose. New York transplants rejoiced when the first West Coast location of Heyday, a skincare spot that specializes in quickie personalized facials, opened its doors not too far from the Grove. Now, West Siders can get their fix with the opening of a second Brentwood location. Here’s how it works: Select the duration of your treatment (30, 50, or 75 minutes) and set your goals with your skin therapist. Every treatment comes with a deep cleanse, exfoliation, custom mask, hydration and SPF protection (50- and 75-minute sessions also include extractions).
