Molly Sims’ Next Move, Just in Time For Mother’s Day

The California-based model and newly minted TikToker reveals her new collab and what keeps her Zen

Words by KELLY ATTERTON

Model, actor, producer, best-selling author and podcaster Molly Sims became one of social media’s most beloved moms during the pandemic. She shed her glamorous, “perfect life” posting style for an honest (and hilarious) approach to motherhood that has moms everywhere cheering her on. “People got to see the kooky, crazy, fun-loving mom. They don’t care if I have the perfect image,” Sims explains. “They kind of like the dirty hair.”

For Sims, 2020 was in many ways a revelation. “The past year’s made people realize how much moms actually do!” Sims shares. “I want to celebrate them.” Sims, a southerner turned Californian with an affinity for monogramming, has joined forces with Mark & Graham, the go-to brand for personalized gifts. “Our collaboration for Mother’s Day has gifts for all types of moms,” says Sims. She especially loves the monogrammed jewelry pouches and the waterproof beach totes. With more than 25 monogrammed gifts to choose from, bespoke Mother’s Day shopping a breeze.

Aside from day drinking, Sims finds her Zen “… in my closet, hiding from my kids,” she laughs. “But really, any time I get 5 minutes without anyone saying, ‘Mom …’ ” Other ways Sims de-stresses? “We love hiking at Los Leones in the Palisades with Ruby, our Bernadoodle. You get a quick workout and a nice view of Malibu and the Santa Monica mountains at the end.” Exercise is an important part of Sims’ routine. “I love DanceBody and Hot Pilates,” she says. She’s also a huge fan of Luke Milton of Training Mate. When not hanging out with her family, Sims sometimes treats herself to a micro current facial at Knockout Beauty, or unwinds with a leisurely solo drive along PCH or Sunset Blvd. when there isn’t traffic. “It reminds me of my single days,” she smiles.
