The French jewelry house gathered creatives for a rooftop reveal of the sharp new capsule collection set to an eclectic soundtrack

Spiked conical onyx rings inlaid with diamonds and paired with newly penned piano riffs welcomed guests to a rooftop dinner held in Los Angeles by Cartier to launch its new Clash Unlimited collection. Finneas, the multihyphenate singer-songwriter and producer whose sister and frequent collaborator is Billie Eilish, performed live after guests arrived via vintage cars to view the French jewelry house’s immersive installation of the off-kilter capsule in West Hollywood.

Before Finneas’ three-song set, a tour through the boldly inventive rings, bracelets and earrings in white gold, onyx, diamonds and amethysts, combining clean geometric shapes with eye-catching voluminous proportions, enveloped guests in soundscapes he produced. Snippets of beats and soaring notes mixed as everyone got a glimpse at tennis bracelets with upside-down diamonds and massive picot rings plus two new watch styles inside a multiroom space designed by the collaborative design practice Snarkitecture.

Lily Collins, Ella Balinska, Ashe, Dan Levy, Benjamin Bronfman, Aurora James, Kathy Hilton and Nicky Hilton Rothschild sat for Michelin-starred chef Curtis Stone’s multi-course sustainable menu before chocolate picot domes arrived — requiring a silver hammer to smash them open. The inventive desserts by pastry chef Chris Ford of Butter Love & Hard Work contained precisely made silver mini macarons.
