Crystal-embellished Jimmy Choo pumps sat alongside red velvet mules, strappy sandals, and Bon Bon and Varenne bags inside landscape artist and urban farmer Michael O’Brien’s new Hommes & Gardens space as holiday cocktails made the rounds at a holiday party held by the British brand and C Magazine on December 14. O’Brien transformed his new West Hollywood headquarters into a winter wonderland with plentiful pine boughs, berries and a host of flowers, greenery and ribbons for festive wreath making. The designer, who has created gardens and yardscapes for clients from San Ysidro to Handcock Park watched as creatives decorated wreaths to reflect their personalities, incorporating local tree trimmings, herbs, evergreens and dried sprigs for colorful counterpoints. Roe Caviar served delicacies including deviled eggs, caviar potatoes, toast points and salmon mousse cones as London-born DJ Siobhan Bell helmed the turntables.
