Cara Delevingne and Olivier Rousteing made a lasting impression with a boxing-inspired celebration

Two globally celebrated brands — Puma and Balmain — came together on Thursday, Nov. 21, in Los Angeles to mark the debut of their first collaborative collection.
The heavyweight labels — one a German-born activewear stalwart, the other a celebrity-loved French fashion house — created their new limited-edition capsule with model and actor Cara Delevingne, and celebrated the launch with an edgy bash at L.A.’s Milk Studios.
Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, was joined by his muse Delevingne at the event, along with a host of supporters and tastemakers, including Eva Longoria, Alessandra Ambrosio, Amber Heard, Alex Israel, G-Eazy, Langley Fox, Natalie Joos and Draya Michele. The crowd gathered for libations and a live dance performance set on a boxing ring stage — with entertainers outfitted in the collection’s footwear, apparel and accessories.
Featuring 35 exclusive pieces, the Puma x Balmain range merges the defining heritages of the two brands — both of which were founded in the 1940s — in the form of high-performance, Parisian-style luxury fashions, available at Puma stores and online. Additionally, Balmain will carry select styles at its boutiques, along with another collection of six Balmain-produced items from the collaboration.
