An evening of pumps and pampering in honor of Betsy Gonzalez’s new direct-to-consumer brand

In celebration of Mia Becar, the new online luxury footwear label from creative director Betsy Gonzalez, hosts Erica Pelosini and Maryna Linchuk threw a glamorous bash on Wednesday, Sept. 4, transforming a Bel Air mansion into the Mia Becar Oasis for one special night.
As the sun set, guests, including Andie Macdowell, Melusine Ruspoli, Anne Marie Kortright, Jenné Newton-Haydon and Moran Atias, were invited to indulge in a meditation session led by Topanga-based model-turned-yogi Angela Lindvall. Also on-site was renowned aesthetic medicine specialist Dr. Barbara Sturm, who was providing exclusive one-on-one skincare consultations.
After treating themselves to some self-care and shopping Gonzalez’s line of handmade Italian shoes — among them fan favorites like the Marilyn mules and Allie lace-up sandals — attendees were wooed with a performance by jazz pianist Elew, aka Eric Lewis, during cocktail hour. The crowd then gathered for a gourmet Mexican-Italian feast under the stars before taking their heels to the dance floor for a DJ-fueled night.
