Fashion designer Rosetta Getty and her husband, Balthazar, hosted the perfect end-of-season feast

The Gettys threw a fun-filled family-style barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 31, to close out the California summer with a bang. Friends like Garance Dore, Rachel Zoe, Dree Hemingway and Langley Fox made their way to Rosetta and Balthazar’s Malibu residence to tuck into a buffet of classic American fare and comfort foods with subtle Asian influences — think teriyaki short ribs and filet mignon with chili.
While Rosetta caught up with guests — such as Gia Coppola, Sam Taylor-Johnson and Bettina Korek — her husband, Balthazar, and DJ Mia Moretti took turns on the turntables to keep the event’s good vibes going. In between mingling by the pool and ensuring friends were enjoying their fresh mojitos, Rosetta encouraged partygoers to visit the Malibu Chili Cook-Off across the street, where her clothing brand was hosting a popsicles pop-up, the proceeds of which benefited the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.
