At the Beverly Hills home of Alison Kay and Alex von Furstenberg, the HEART (Helping Ease Abuse Related Trauma) charity group teamed up with longtime collaborator Valentino to host its 16th annual fundraising brunch on Wednesday, April 24.
An elite crowd of Angelenos gathered at the private estate to support HEART’s dedicated Violence Intervention Program (VIP), which was founded in 1984 by Dr. Astrid Heppenstall Heger to aid victims of child abuse and family violence in L.A. County. The Valentino-clad attendees — among them, actors Jessica Capshaw and Rosanna Arquette; celebrity stylists Sophie Lopez, Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald; and tastemakers Louise Roe and Caro Daur — were treated to a moving presentation by Heger, a live music set by DJ Harley Viera Newton and an exclusive shopping experience at the on-site Valentino pop-up.
The fashion house, which created a limited-edition Garavani Rockstud Spike shoulder bag in celebration of the event, further supported VIP by donating a portion of online sale proceeds to the cause.
