Boucheron and C Magazine held an intimate dinner at San Vicente Bungalows awash in baubles and gem-filled jewelry from the house’s inventive collections, bringing the bold spirit of Place Vendôme to West Hollywood on Wednesday, November 19. C founder Jennifer Smith was joined by Boucheron’s Gary Beaubier, Linda Riley, and Aladin Hardy as well as guests — including Cayli Cavaco Reck, Dang Bodirat and Evan Lysacek, Jennifer Tilly, Suzanne Saperstein, Erica Reid, Nikita Kahn Ellison, Natalie Fuller, Lauren Lake, Stephanie Kradjian, Christine and Dr. Gabriel Chiu, Rebecca DeSantis, Nina Takesh, Pia and Ron Mehta, Cosima Swayze, and many more — on hand for the gathering.

On view were jewelry collections evoking house founder Frédéric Boucheron’s fascination with nature’s splendor, such as the archival Plume de Paon motif, a curving feather design first appearing in the 1860s and now fashioned into rings, earrings, and necklaces in white gold with intricately set pavé diamonds. Flèche designs of arrows in perpetual motion with round and baguette-cut diamonds also made the rounds, as did graphic multidimensional Quatre rings and bracelets in classic combinations of yellow gold, pink gold, white gold, and vaporized titanium brown PVD. Not to be missed was a necklace from the Serpent Bohème collection, in yellow gold, centered around a formidable flower with oval petals and a pavé diamond center. First introduced in the 1970s, its free-spirited arrangement was particularly appealing.
