The label’s Australian design team hosted an evening of revelry amid a rainstorm

Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann arrived in Los Angeles to celebrate their namesake line’s ethereal Cruise 26 collection with old friends, creatives, and guests who congregated at Chateau Marmont on Friday, November 14, amid an ongoing storm. The rain lent a romantic aura to the evening as those in attendance gathered in a bungalow around dramatic candlelit dinner tables laden with ivory linens and pearls. Many were clad in the Twisted Romance–themed collection awash in maritime stripes, white cotton dresses with rope details, and filmy skirts with map prints. Sydney-based creative director Nicky flew in from Paris, and she and Simone, the company’s COO, welcomed those who made their way along the hotel’s winding paths with the help of umbrella-wielding gentlemen.
Abby Champion, who dressed in a design created by Nicky during the weekend of her wedding to Patrick Schwarzenegger, donned another of her diaphanous looks for the party. Rita Ora, Dakota Fanning, Zoey Deutch, Emma Roberts, Jurnee Smollett, Halle Bailey, Chloe East, Delany Rowe, Larsen Thompson, Anna Diop, Isabela Merced, Hilary Rhoda, and Hailey Clauson, also in Zimmermann, joined the festivities, making their way to the Penthouse where DJ Kitty Cash spun as dessert made the rounds. Art Production Fund’s Casey Fremont was also on hand, as were fellow Aussies Joel Egerton and Bella Heathcote, toasting the sisters and their elegant line as the rain fell all around them.
