The party at the new Polo boutique, cohosted by C Magazine, drew guests donning looks from the label while a double-decker trolley traveled by

At the end of June, Ralph Lauren threw a celebratory opening party with C Magazine for its latest store at The Grove in L.A. as the solstice sunlight softened into golden hour. Building on the brand’s West Coast expansion, the new space was filled with men’s and women’s designs, including linen suit jackets and trousers, cotton crewneck sweaters, and striped poplin shirts as well as cotton eyelet shirtdresses, linen-cotton tailoring, and crocheted cardigans. Polo Play leather tote bags in multiple sizes and crossbody styles were also on display inside the boutique. And guests got a look at World Cup–ready breathable Polo shirts embroidered with country crests, flags, and the iconic pony motif paired with cotton twill ball caps in colorful stacks organized by country.

Inspired by the brand’s Pebble Beach Sporting Life campaign, a menu of farm-to-table cocktails and hors d’oeuvres — including mini lobster rolls and sliders — made the rounds as guests got a look at the new space, which was designed with a beach-adjacent sense of ease and a refined off-duty sensibility with natural materials that gave it a California twist. Beneath loft-like interiors with exposed wood beams and against bright white walls, an eclectic mix of furniture held everything from swim trunks and towels to crisp summer Friday shirts and repp or hand-stitched knit silk ties. Dark stained wood floors, rugs, and framed artwork gave the space a sophisticated atmosphere, quintessential to the house founded by Ralph Lauren nearly 60 years ago.
