Chanel began as a millinery in Paris, but its inimitable founder swiftly launched sportswear designed for seaside gatherings and beach excursions at her first Riviera shop in Deauville. Now the French fashion house has arrived in Montecito, on the Pacific Coast, where a seasonal boutique houses Cruise 2026 collection ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, fine jewelry, and watches at Rosewood Miramar Beach, the private oceanfront resort. Knitted ensembles and suits join Coco Crush, No.5, and Camélia baubles and Permière Galon, J12, and Boy Friend watches inside the space designed with a palette of black, white, and beige evoking Mademoiselle Chanel. The setting, along an equally stunning stretch of Santa Barbara coastline, includes a serene outdoor garden and all the allure of an elegant escape.
