Stopping the spread of coronavirus doesn’t have to come at the expense of soft hands
Words by JAKE HEDDAEUS
As we acclimate to our new normal, one that relies on social distancing and personal hygiene to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, keeping our hands clean and away from our faces has never been more important.
But cleansing your hands more frequently — plus extra exposure to sanitizing chemicals and copious amounts of hot water, and maybe even an increased alcohol intake — can rapidly lead to dryness, so moisturizing well becomes crucial to keeping your skin nourished and healthy. The situation has had us calling on our most trusted hand creams for their soothing benefits.
Here, we share our favorites, from creams you can buy at your local drugstore to luxurious salves for an indulgent post-wash treat.
