In partnership with Barneys New York
On June 2 and 3, thedropLA@barneys—a two-day immersive experience showcasing a multitude of designers and collections—will take over Barneys New York Beverly Hills.
Produced in collaboration with Highsnobiety (and a second iteration of the two-day experience, which premiered in New York last October), the weekend fashion spectacle will feature more than 90 brands and 20 exclusive capsule collections from labels including Fendi, Balmain, Givenchy, FILA, Palm Angels, Versace, Rick Owens, Adaptation, Birkenstock, Alberta Ferretti and Burberry. The weekend affair will also include one-of-a-kind experiences ranging from a Prada Pachinko Parlor to a roller rink with performances (and skate rentals for guests), and a Heron Preston-designed space-inspired environment. To add to the festivities, Barneys New York and Highsnobiety will also provide piercings by cult fave J. Colby Smith, tattoos by Fun City and nail art by Unistella.
On June 2, designers such as Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God, Moschino’s Jeremy Scott and Eli Azran of RtA will make personal appearances. In addition to DJ sets from the likes of Preston, SIMIHAZE, Siobhan Bell and Mathematics, entertainment will also include a surprise musical performance presented in partnership with Live Nation.
“This year, we’ve created a fresh take on fashion for a new generation, with even more collections and activations across women’s, men’s, beauty, jewelry, and more,” said Daniella Vitale, Chief Executive Officer & President of Barneys New York. “This one-of-a-kind experience captures the creative spirit of Los Angeles through imaginative environments, thought-provoking panel discussions, L.A. food favorites, entertainment and a special musical performance.”
Can’t make it that weekend? You can still get your hands on a piece of the action: Exclusive pieces from thedropLA@barneys will also be available online for purchase at Barneys.com.
